| This was possibly the best played game of the season. It turned out to be a real pitcher’s duel. Matt Moremile got the starting node and pitched a very good game. He allowed only one run on 6 hits through the first 5 2/3 inning. Will Schaffer come on in relief in the 6th with runners on 2nd and 3rd and 2 outs and the score tied 1-1. Schaffer struck out the Bernards lead off hitter for the 3rd out. Bernards would get a unearned run in the 7th to make the score 2-1. Summit went down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 7th.
Summit’s run came in the 3rd inning. Moremile led off with single. Matt Murdock and Robby Feris singled to load the bases. Moremile came in on Schaffer’s fielder’s choice.
