Summit traveled to Warinanco Park to take on Roselle Catholic in a miserable cool drizzle. Summit manged 2 runs in each of the first two innings on only 1 hit in each inning, aided by 5 walks. However, Summit seemed bent on keeping Roselle C. in the game as they too allowed 4 runs in those first two innings. Aided greatly by 2 Summit errors.

Summit scored three runs in the 4th to restore order. A lead-off double by Tim Colao got things started, a walk to Matt Murdock, a triple by Will Schaffer and a single by Grant Douglas produced the three runs. Three more runs were added in 5th inning. Walks to Colao and Murdock were followed by Schaffer’s 2nd triple and another single by Douglas. That made the score 10-4.

Summit would add two more runs in the 6th. Andrew Miller doubled to start the inning. Singles by Colao and Murdock and a rbi fielder’s choice by Robbie Faris delivered the runs
