Summit came out on the wrong side of quality pitcher’s duel. Kyle Kanaley started for Summit and had his best outing of the season. He limited Watchung Hills to only 3 hits and a pair of runs over the 6 innings he pitched. Ben Lim pitched the scoreless 7th inning.

While Summit managed one more hit than Warren Hills it only led to lone run in the bottom of the 6th. Robby Faris singled to start the inning, but was forced at 2nd by a Andrew Miller fielder’s choice. Miller moved into scoring position on a ground ball. Alex Crane hit a deep single that scored Miller. Unfortunately, Crane was out trying to stretch the hit.
