Summit took command at the start as they marched 74 yards in 7 plays. It included four rushes by Matt Newman that covered 46 of the yards, included the TD. Summit would go on to score twice more in the quarter. Robby Ferris had a 23 yard reception and a 25 yard TD run in the next scoring drive. Newman keyed the 3rd TD drive with a 32 yard reception from Jake froschauer.

Newman scored again at the beginning of the 2nd quarter on a 14 yard reception and the score stood at 28-0. Jeff Chen completed the 1st half scoring with a 28 yard field goal.

Summit would capitalize on a bad Hillside punt late in the 3rd quarter that gave Summit the ball at the Hillside 20 yardline. Froschauer covered 14 of the 20 yards, including the last two yards.

Hillside finally scored in the 4th quarter as Summit gave the JV players some playing time.
