| Summit had lost earlier to Gov. Livingston so it came to Berkeley heights with something to prove. Unfortunately, things didn’t look good for Summit in the first quarter. GL jumped to a 17-11 lead. Only Will Schaffer’s 7 points kept Summit in the game. The game turned around in the 2nd quarter that ended tied 31-31. It was paced by Gary West and Schaffer, who both posted 5 points and four from Chip Roriston. The 3rd quarter was all Summit as we opened a 10 point lead with scoring by 7 different players. Gov. Livingston had a few spurts in the final quarter when they connected on three 3-pointers but Summit was able to finish with the 10 point lead intact.
Schaffer led the scoring with 19 points and Alex Dadourian had 7 rebounds.
