Summit traveled to Rahway’s gym where they historically have trouble coping with the Indians very aggressive style of play. This trip was no exception. Everything Rahway threw up seemed to go in and the Rahway pressure produced Summit’s worst shooting percentage of the season. Summit scored on only 13 of 52 attempts for 25%. The 3-point production was particularly off, hitting on only 1 of 14 shots.
Summit stayed in the game in the 1st quarter, but the 2nd quarter was all Rahway as they built a 38-21 halftime lead. The 2nd half scoring was fairly even as Rahway began substituting liberally in the 4th quarter.
Michael Kaelin led the Summit scoring with 14 points
Note: Last season Rahway did the same thing to Summit @ Rahway (74-64), but we beat them in Summit 69-59, there is hope!
