History does repeat itself. Last season Summit was humiliated at Rahway but came back to beat the Indians at home. This year that pattern repeated itself. The victory over 11-1 Rahway came at a good time since the seedings for the Union County Tournament will occur next week, I believe.
It was a one or two point game at the end of each of the first 3 quarter. The final allowed Summit to get the upper hand. A field goal and 3 pointer by Paul Flanagan and FGs by Will Schaffer and Chip Roriston gave Summit the lead. When it came to foul time at the end Summit drained 8 of 9 free throws to ice the game. Wayne White was 4 for 4, Schaffer was 2 for 3 and Flanagan was 2 for 2.
Paul Flanagan led the scoring with 13 points and Alex Dodourian grabbed 8 rebounds.
