Summit took on Roselle in the final regular season game. Both teams struggled to get going in the first half. However, Summit led 20-14 as they went to the locker room. Defensively Paul Flanagan hauled in 7 rebounds in the half.
The second half was a different story as Summit widened its lead to nine points in the 3rd quarter. With six different players contributing points. Going down the stretch, where free throw shooting is so important, the Hilltoppers were great. Wayne White was 4 for 4, Flanagan 7 of 8 and Jack Washburn was 2 for 2. That’s 13 of 14 attemps!
Flanagan had a great game, scoring 17 points and hauling in 10 rebounds.
