The game started badly for Summit as Voorhees grabbed an early 10-4 lead. Summit turned up the defensive pressure and rallied for a 13-12 advantage starting the 2nd Quarter. The battle was rather even in the 2nd quarter but a barrage of 3-pointers left Voorhees ahead by 1 point at the half. Jaden Jackson contributed 8 points and Will Schaffer added 6.
The 3rd quarter was all Summit. Summit really cranked up the defensive pressure and extracted turnover after turnover. It seemed to leave Voorhees helpless as they could only score 3 points to Summit’s 23 points. That left Summit ahead by 19 points. It was never close again. In the 2nd half Schaffer scored 11 points, Michael Kaelin had 10 and Jackson added 6.
For the game, Schaffer led Summit scoring with 17 points, Jackson had 14 points and Kaelin scored 12
