| This was a “Tale of Two Halves.” In the first half Scotch Plains was all over Summit and the Hilltoppers responded with turnovers and missed shots. Scotch Plains rolled to an easy 19-12 lead at the half. Its not known what the coach said at halftime, but it was a different team in the 2nd half. Catlin Osmulski’s 7 points led the summit rally as it closed to within 1 point starting the final 8 minutes.
Early on, a pair of 3's, one by Christina Richson (her third of the night) and one by Osmulski really got things going. Richson wound up with 5 points in the quarter and Osmulski added 7 more. The Hilltoppers won going away.
Osmulski had her season high (and possibly her career high) 16 points to lead the offense. Richson was also in double digits with 11 points.
