| Summit, the 7th seed, scored the first 7 points of the game and led Somerville , the 2nd seed, mid way through the 1st quarter. However, it was all downhill from there. Somerville’s superior ball handlers and shooters took over and the Pioneers rolled to an easy victory. Summit couldn’t penetrate the defense and their outside shots were off track.
Christina Richson had 12 points and Cassidy O’Malley added 11.
O’Malley wrapped up her amazing career with 1439 points, the most in the history of Summit High School.
