 Friday, Dec 11 4:10PM  Union Sports Arena  Scotch Plains-Fanwood  Won 6-1 Will Vitton turned in a hat trick and Dan Hicks added two goals and an assist as Summit defeated Scotch-Plains. Vitton scored once in each of the first two periods, his first-period goal coming shorthanded.

Summit built on its 2-0 lead in the third period when Hicks scored twice 29 seconds apart to take a four-goal lead with 8:44 remaining in regulation. Scotch Plainss scored its only goal in the 3rd to make it 4-1, Thomas Shung scored with 2:47 left to put Summit up 5-1. Vitton completed the hat trick with his empty-net goal with nine seconds remaining, which also came shorthanded.

Kyle McLaughlin made 29 saves for Summit. while Tim Mitchell matched that effort for Scotch Plains.

Matt Galgano scored a power-play goal for Summit in the second period, assisted by David Sharpe and Thomas Shung, to make to make it 3-1, but Cranford scored its 4 goal of the game with 2:47 remaining in regulation for Cranford.

Wednesday, Dec 30 Ice Vault Mahwah Lost 3-2 Dan Hicks (David Sharpe, Corey McManus) gave Summit a 1-0 early in the 1st Period. Two 2nd period goals gave Mahwah a 2-1 lead at 8:01. 32 seconds later Charlie Collins (Dan Hicks) scored to tie the game. Sadly, a minute later Mahwah scored the final goal of the game. Kyle Mclaughlin had 22 saves.

A goal early in the 3rd Period gave Scotch Plains a 3-2 lead, but Alec Vitton tied the score for Summit with 10:59 remaining in regulation.

Vitton had two goals in the game for Summit, which also got a goal from Dan Hicks and 25 saves from Kyle McLaughlin in net.

Alec Vitton stopped all 25 shots he faced to earn the shutout for Summit. Matt Galgano, David Sharpe, and Luc Radice each picked up an assist in the win.

Saturday, Feb 20 6:00PM  Warinanco UCC finals vs. Cranford Lost 3-2

Cranford's goal with ont 1:07 remaining in the game, snapped the tie and sent top-seeded Cranford to a 3-2 triumph over Summit in the final of the Union County Cup.

Cranford took a 2-0 lead after one period of play, but Summit battled back to tie it at 2-2 off the sticks of Luc Radice and Dan Hicks with 6:42 left in the third period.

Kyle McLaughlin and Alec Vitton combined to make 35 saves in net for Summit.
