After three tension filled games Summit was able to coast to a 11-1 victory over Plainfield. Grant Douglas started on the mound and pitched the first 5 innings and got the win. Anthony Cusumano pitched the 6th innings. The box score pretty much tells the story.

In the 2n inning Matt Murdock crushed a shot to right center and easily rounded the bases for a seeming home run. Sadly, the umpire claimed Murdock failed to touch 3rd base so he was out at home. Andrew Miller also hit a home run to left-center.
