Maddie Gaeta made 14 saves for Summit, which advances to face top-seeded Middletown North in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

Won 4-2 Megan Abate scored two goals to lead ninth-seeded Summit to a 4-2 upset over top-seeded Middletown North in the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 quarterfinals.

Charlotte Greer and Ciara Lawlor added a goal each and Margaret Robb contributed a team-high two assists. Maddie Gaeta stopped 12 shots on goal.

Summit will play fourth-seeded Millburn, a 4-1 winner over fifth-seeded Hopewell Valley, on Wednesday at a time to be determined.
