Summit was on a roll from the start as they took a 26-10 lead. Malcolm Sidebottom led with 8 points. However, all five starters scored points in the quarter. Summit continued to roll in the 2nd quarter, led by Will Schaffer’s 6 points. The half ended with Summit holding a commanding 42-20 lead.
The 3rd quarter was more of the same with scoring by six different players and Summit ending with a 29 point lead. Early in the quarter Schaffer took a nasty fall, hitting the floor hard and went to the bench for the remander of play. The last eight minutes provided an opportunity all the bench to get some serious playing time.
The Hilltoppers had their best shooting night, hitting on 52% of their shots. Summit had three players in double digits, led by Chip Roriston’s 13. Sidebottom had 12 points and Schaffer contributed 10 points.
