Summit bounced back from their Tuesday night loss with a strong second half. The first half ended on a bad note when Oratory threw in a 3/4 court 3 pointer at the buzzer. That shot allowed Oratory to take 32-29 lead at the half. Will Schaffer provided 10 points and Malcolm Sidebottom drained 3 three pointers for Summit
Summit turned up the defensive pressure and Summit’s deep bench began to wear down Oratory. Schaffer’s 7 points helped the Hilltoppers out score Oratory 18-10 in the 3rd quarter. Summit carried a 47-42 lead going into the final 8 minutes. All the scoring in the 4th quarter was provided by Chip Roriston (10 points) and Schaffer (6 points). Oratory closed to within 3 points with about a minute left and, as usual, it came down to free throws. Roriston(4) and Schaffer(2) hit six consecutive free throws at the end to seal the win,
Schaffer led the offense with 23 points. Roriston (15 points) and Sidebottom (14 points) were in double digits. Jackson Tyler had 7 rebounds
