Traveling to Rahway for a game is always depressing. There is something about Rahway at home. Even when we beat them on our court they tend to kill us on their home court. In fact, the last time Summit defeated Rahway, at Rahway, was 7 years ago in 2010. To make matters worse, Summit had to play without Chip Roriston.
This year was no exception. The question late in the game was; can we hold them below 50 points and stay within 20? We managed both goals. The scoring was unusual, no player scored more than 3 points, except for Will Schaffer. He scored 14, a little short of half of Summit’s total.
Sadly, after we beat Warren Hills in the Sectional Tournament we will probably have to journey to Rahway on Thursday of next week.
