Summit had played one of its worst games when they lost 51-34 at Roselle. Summit showed their true colors when they overwhelmed Roselle at home. The Hilltopers rolled to a 36-19 lead at the half, with 8 players scoring points. led by Chip Roriston’s 10 points. Summit stumbled a bit in the 3rd quarter under very intense defensive pressure from Roselle. Roselle cut Summit’s lead to 7 points leading into the 4th quarter. However, Summit got their game back on track in the final 8 minutes to win by 17. Roriston was a tower of strength in the 4th quarter as he scored 12 points. Including eight consecutive free throws.
Roriston led the Summit offense with 22 points. He also pulled down s team leading 7 rebounds. Malcolm Sidebottom hit on 4 of his 6 three point trys, for 12 points. Will Schaffer had a solid game with 10 points.
