Scotch Plains came to Summit after an opening game big win over Elizabeth. The first quarter showed that they are for real. SPF drained 5 three pointers and 5 baskets to run to a 25-14 lead. All of Summit’s 14 points were scored by Chip Roriston, was held scoreless for the remainder of the game. Summit managed only 5 points in the second quarter and the half ended 35-19.
The second half wasn’t much better and the Scotch Plains continued to pull away.
