Elizabeth came to Summit and the two teams put on a show of quality baseball. Alex Boburka and the Elizabeth pitcher both pitched complete games, giving up few hits and and even fewer hits. There was only one error in the game and that was charged to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning and Summit answered in the the 4th. Trevor Mutolo led off the inning with a single, moved to 2nd on a sacrifice bunt by Justin Weiss and scored on a single by Greg Vlass.
Elizabeth took a 2-1 lead in the top of the 6th and again Summit answered with a run. Mutolo led off with a solid double and scored on an error by the center fielder. So Summit came up to the bottom of the 7th with the score tied 2-2. With one out Andrew Miller tripled with one out. With 2 outs a wild pitch allowed Miller to score the winning run.
