Gov. Livingston had a total of only four shots. GL's goalie was forced to make 11 saves by the Summit Offence. James Ford recorded two saves for Summit.

    Won 2-0 Luc Curragh and Delmer Argenal both found the back of the net as fourth-seeded Summit defeated 13th-seeded Chatham, 2-0, in the first round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 Tournament in Summit. Argenal added an assist to his total as James Ford made six saves.

    Summit will face fifth-seeded Cranford, a 3-2 winner over 12th-seeded Rahway, in the quarterfinal round.

    Friday Nov 3 Home NJSIAA Quarter Finals vs. Cranford Won 4-1Summit powered to a 3-0 1st half lead and were never really challenged in the 2nd half. Luc Curragh scored two goals to lead fourth-seeded Summit to victory over fifth-seeded Cranford in the quarterfinals of theNJsiaa Sectional tournament .

    Liam Galligan scored a goal and added an assist, Delmer Argenal added a goal and Matthew Kohaut and Jack Fineman chipped in an assist apiece for Summit. Keeper James Ford finished with six saves.

    Summit will play top-seeded Mendham, No. 7 in the NJ.com Top 20, in the semifinals scheduled for Tuesday.
