Wow, what a srart. On the second play from scrimmage Jackson Tyler ran 72 yard for a touchdown, Will Goldy split the uprights and Summit was up 7-0. The celebration was short lived because Immaculata took the ensuing kickoff and on the first play connected on a 61 yard pass for a touchdown. They kicked the PAT, so with 47 seconds into the game it was tied 7-7.

Starting the second quarter Summit recovered a fumble at the Summit 44. Max Jackson went for 10 yard and a 1st down at Immaculata’s 46. Tyler connected with Stephen Sajer on a 16 yard pass to give Summit a first down at at the 24. Runs by Max Jackson and Tyler moved the ball to the 4 where Tyler carried it in for the TD. Again, Goldy kicked the PAT. However, Immaculata again answered with a TD. They struck quickly with a 36 yard pass and a 28 yard run. But this time the PAT kick went wide.

In the 2nd half Immaculata gave Summit a scare when the drove to a 1st down inside the Summit 10 yardline. They moved to a 4th down at the one. The defense rose to the occasion stopped the drivea at the one. Immaculata had one last chace with the clock running down. An interception by Finbar McCormack ended the threat and Summit ran out the clock
