| Summit took on Gov. Livingston for the 3rd time this deason in the 1st round of the Union County Tournament. Some fans worried about issues that could come up trying to beat a team for the 3rd time. However, Malcolm Sidebottom made things look bright when he drained his first three 3-three point attemps. Throw in a FG and he had 11 of Summit’s 13 point in the first quarter. Sidebottom went on to score three more treys, and go 4 for 4 from the foul line.
Summit never trailed, but GL got as close as two points in the 1st half. Needless to say, Sidebottom led all scorers with 26 points. Eric Baier scored 11 points and Dom Yorio led rebounding with 7. Summit, as a team, is a 65% free throw team, but today nailed 16 of 18 attempts.
