Roselle arrived with a record almost identical with Summit’s. As expected the game was close with the lead changing back and forth. Starting the final quarter Summit held a 2 point advantage at 48-46. A Summit FG was answered by 3-pointer for Roselle and the score was cut to 1 point (50-49). A few minutes later Roselle tied the game a 54-54.
At that point the game was blown open by Malcolm Sidebottom. On consecutive possessions Sidebottom drained a 3-pointer. Those nine points gave Summit an insurmountable lead with only seconds left on the clock.
Notes: Summit had four players in double digits, led by Sidebottom with 20. Will Hellings and Jackson Tyler with 12 points each and Dom Yorio with 10. Shipbottom had 7 rebouds.
