5/11 Darien Lost 6-7 (OT) The boys freshman lacrosse team fell to Darien in the semifinal round of the 10th annual Conor Korish tournament. Summit fell behind 4-1 early, but a stingy defense and composed offensive attack was able to claw their way back into it in the 4th quarter. Michael Bonomo scored 3 times, Hunter Schluter scored twice, and Jack Anderson came away with the game tying goal with just a minute left. Charlie Milne-Home and Will Zipf along with tremendous defensive efforts from Dan Helmer, Jackson Moller, Austin Groce, and Timmy Sajer were able to hold a potent Darien offense to just 1 goal in the second half. Charlie and Will combined to make 6 saves.
5/9 Ridgewood Lost 9-6 The boys freshman lacrosse team was defeated by Ridgewood 6-9. The Hilltoppers were unable to come back from a 5-0 deficit at halftime. Timmy Sajer provided a big spark winning faceoffs against an elite opponent and picking up 7 ground balls. Michael Bonomo scored 4 goals in the second half, but it was not enough.
5/5 Don Bosco Won 10-4 The boys freshman lacrosse team beat Don Bosco in their opening matchup of the 10th annual Conor Korish tournament. Summit jumped out to a 6-1 lead at the half guided by a potent offensive attack and a relentless ride. Michael Bonomo led Summit with 4 goals and 3 assists. Jimmy Persche and Jack Anderson pitched in with 2 each, while Hunter Schluter and Ronan Burke scored one. Charlie Milne-Home and Will Zipf combined for 6 saves.
4/30 Ridge Won 10-4 The boys freshman lacrosse team defeated Ridge 10-4. The game was decided on big scoring runs, with the Hilltoppers coming out with the upper hand. A 4-0 lead after the first quarter, turned to a tie ballgame midway thru the 3rd. The Summit offense exploded for 6 goals in the final 15 minutes to put the Red Devils away. Michael Bonomo scores 5 goals and Jack Anderson added 3 to lead the team. Hunter Schluter had a season high 6 assists on the day. Will Zipf and Charlie Milne-Home combined for 4 saves
4/28 Bridgewater-Raritan Won 6-1 The boy's freshman lacrosse team beat Bridgewater-Raritan. Michael Bonomo and Hunter Schluter each had 2 goals to pace Summit. Charlie Milne-Home was outstanding in goal, saving 9 of the 10 shots he faced.
4/24 Debarton Lost 10-7 The boys freshman lacrosse team suffered their first defeat of the season to Delbarton. Summit jumped out to an early 5-0 advantage, but could not hold on. 4/21 Westfield Won 9-3 The boys freshman lacrosse team defeated Westfield 9-3. Michael Bonomo scores 3 times, Jack Anderson and Hunter Schluter scored twice each, and Matt Vigliotta and Jimmy Persche had one apiece. Schluter was making plays for everyone, totaling 4 assists on the day. Austin Groce was a beast on the ground and in the air, causing countless turnovers and picking up 7 ground balls. Charlie Milne-Home and Will Zipf were solid in goal, holding the opponents to just 3 goals.
4/19 Chatham Won 5-2 The boys freshman lacrosse team won a hard fought battle with Chatham, 5-2. Michael Bonomo led the way with 2 goals and 2 assists, while Jack Anderson, Jimmy Persche, and Hunter Schluter were all able to find the back of the net as well. Summit’s defensive tenacity was on full display, limiting Chatham to only a few opportunities in the first half led by Jackson Moller, Dan Helmer, Austin Groce, Timmy Sajer, and Charlie Milne-Home. Summit was able to keep possession well, thanks to Jimmy Persche’s strong work at the faceoff X. Will Zipf and Charlie Milne-Home combined for 6 saves in the win.
4/17: West Morris Won 13-2 The boys freshman lacrosse team defeated West Morris Central 13-2. The Hilltoppers were led by Michael Bonomo and Jack Anderson, who combined for 7 goals. Robby Holmes, Jimmy Persche, Hunter Schluter, Matt Vigliotta, and Will Huntley-Robertson all scored in the win. Will Zipf and Charlie Milne-Home combined to make 7 saves in an impressive defensive game for Summit. Bonomo, Dan O’Connell and Matt Vigliotta led the team in ground balls, while Persche and Schluter were the top assist men on the day.
4/16 . Don Bosco Prep Won 11-5 The boys freshman lacrosse team beat Don Bosco Prep 11-5. Summit jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, but fell behind 4-2 halfway thru the 2nd quarter. The Hilltoppers finished the half out strong pulling to within 1 goal and a 5-4 score. Will Zipf and the Summit defense played lights out defense in the 2nd half, limiting DBP to only a few goal scoring chances. The Hilltopper offense started clicking in the 2nd half, resulting in a 7-0 half. Michael Bonomo led the way with 4 goals and 4 assists.

Bergen Catholic Won 13-4 Michael Bonomo led the way with 4 goals and 4 assists. Jimmy Persche added 3 goals and an assist to go with 6 ground balls. The game started off 2-0 in favor of the Crusaders, but Summit came back to score the next 5. Ben Luckner recorded his first goal of the season in the 2nd half to put away Bergen Catholic for good. Charlie Milne-Home and Will Zipf combined to make 5 saves for the Hilltoppers.
4/12 Montclair Won 8-5 The Hilltoppers traded scores with Montclair early, but managed to stay in the lead from the 2nd quarter on. Jimmy Persche led the team with 3 goals and Jack Anderson had 2. Anderson and Michael Bonomo were busy all game forcing turnovers on the ride and picking up a combined 16 ground balls. The highlight of the afternoon came when Austin Groce picked up one of his 4 ground balls in the defensive side of the field, sprinted by the entire Montclair team, and buried a shot for his first goal of the season. Will Zipf and Charlie Milne-Home combined to make 4 saves.  
4/6 Bergen Catholic Won 11-2 The boys freshman lacrosse team bested Bergen Catholic by a score of 11-1. The Hilltoppers jumped out to a 9-0 lead at halftime behind Robby Holmes and Michael Bonomo (3 goals each). Kevin Cavicchia scored his first goal of the season in the 1st half as well. Will Zipf kept a clean sheet in the first half, saving all 6 shots that came his way. The defense was led by Austin Groce and Jackson Moller with 9 ground balls combined. Charlie Milne-Home closed out the second half with a save in an overall fantastic defense effort from the team.
3/31 Ridge Won 14-4 The boys freshman lacrosse team defeated Ridge 14-4. Jack Anderson led a balanced scoring attack with 4 goals, Michael Bonomo and Hunter Schluter had 3 apiece, Jimmy Persche netted 2, and Will Huntley-Robertson scored 1. Bonomo dominated the stat sheet with 5 assists and 5 ground balls as well in just 3 quarters of work. Charlie Milne-Home and Will Zipf combined for 8 saves.
3/28 Chatham Won 8-5 The boys freshman lacrosse team opened the season with an 8-5 win over Chatham. The first half saw a lot of even play from both squads, resulting in a 2-2 halftime score. Summit came out firing in the second half, scoring 6 unanswered goals. Michael Bonomo finished with 4 goals, while Jimmy Persche and Hunter Schluter scored 2 each. Persche and Schluter led the team in ground balls with 6 and 7 respectively, followed by defenseman Austin Groce with 4. Charlie Milne-Home and Will Zipf combined to make 4 saves in the winning effort.
