5/9 Seton Hall Won 6-5 The boys JV Lacrosse team traveled to Delbarton to face Seton Hall Prep in the JV Invitational final. Looking to capture a Championship for the season Summit looked to get goals early on but Seton Hall Prep was looking to do the same. The score at half was 2-1 and after four quarters the teams were tied at 5. The first overtime was all defense for Summit as they were able to keep Seton Hall Prep from scoring for four minutes and sending the teams into a second overtime. In the second overtime Summit was able to secure not only the win but the JV Invitational Championship with a goal by Parella. Goals by Galgano, Fishcetti, White and Parella. McTernan, Hadley and Myers were able to keep the team in the game in the second half and help secure the overtime win.Ground balls Fischetti, Driscoll, White, Roberts, Grazia, Beatty, and Cohen.  Summit win 6-5. Current record 13-1 
2018 JV Lacrosse Invitational Champions 
5/7 Chatham The boys JV Lacrosse team traveled back to Chatham to face Mountain Lakes in the semifinal game of the JV Invitational. With a slow start to the game Summit found themselves down 4-1 after 1 quarter. But the motto of this game was not how Summit started but how they responded. Summit opened up the second quarter strong and ended the game on a 7-1 run to win the game 8-5 and secured a spot in the Championship game. Goals by Galgano (1), Driscoll (2), Fishcetti (4), Gettings (1). Saves by Myers (4), Hadley (4), McTernan (2). Ground balls Beatty (3), Myer (2). 
5/5 Chatham 5/5-The boys JV Lacrosse team traveled to Chatham for round one of the JV Invitational. Playing Chatham for the second time this year (won 2-1 earlier in the season) the team looked to achieve the same outcome. Early on both teams were locked in a battle with the score being 1-0 Summit after 1. Then after a 2 min non release penalty in the second Summit was able to net 2 man up goals and added another goal later in the quarter taking a 4-0 lead into the half. The game ended with a Summit win 6-3 and them advancing to the second round. Goals by Muller (3), White (2), Turk (1). Saves Myers (1), Hadley (3), McTernan (2).
4/30 Lincoln-Sudbury Won 14-1The boys JV Lacrosse team looked to keep momentum going from their overtime win against Lincoln-Sudbury when they hosted Princeton. Summit was able to run their offence effectively going up 10-1 at the half. At the end of the game Summit was able to secure the win 14-1 and improve to 10-1 on the season. Goals by Parella (3), Galgano (3), White (1), Grazia (1), Duetsch (1), Beatty (1), Groskph (1), Reagan (1), Breen (1), Bonomo (1). Turk, Roberts, Gange, Grange each had 5 ground balls.
4/28 Won 5-4 The boys JV Lacrosse team looked to bounce back from their first loss on the season as they hosted Lincoln-Sudbury. The game was close and low scoring early on with the score tied at 1 at the half. At the end of four quarters the teams were tied at 4 and heading into overtime. In overtime Summit was able to secure the win with a big save from Own McTernan and a goal by John Fishcetti. Goals by Driscoll (1), Pat White (2), Fishcetti (2). on the season 
4/24 Delbarton Lost 6-5 The boys JV lacrosse team hosted Delbarton on April 24 and unfortunately suffered their first loss of the season falling to Delbarton 6-5. The game was back and fourth with the score being tide 3-3 at half. Summit was able to go up 5-3 going into the fourth but Delbarton was able to respond netting 3 goals in the fourth quarter. The team looks to bounce back as they prepare for their next game against Lincoln-Sudbury. (Current record 8-1). Goals came from Parrela (2), Galgano (1), Grazia (1), Fischetti (1).  
4/21 Westfield Won 4-2 The boys JV lacrosse team hosted Westfield on April 21 and were able to come out with another victory improving to 8-0 on the season. The final was 4-2. John Fischetti had 2 goals and Driscoll and White each added one. The defense was able to stand tall on multiple man down plays and Hadley, Myers, and McTernan combined for 9 saves on the day. 
4/17 West Morris Won 4-3 (OT) The boys JV Lacrosse team traveled to West Morris Central on April 17 looking to keep the strong start of the season going. Early on both teams were battling and that battle continued for 4 quarters with the final at regulation being 3-3 and with that the JV team went into their first overtime of the season. With less than 4 minutes into overtime Joe Galgano was able to net his third goal of the game and secure the victory for the JV team. Pat White also contributed 1 goal, Beatty (5 ground balls), Grange (4 ground balls), and Cohen (3 ground balls). Owen McTernan (1 save) and Spencer Myers season high 4 saves. 
4/14 Sparta Won 6-3 The boys JV Lacrosse team travelled to Sparta on April 14 looking to extend their overall recored to 6-0. With a close game in the first half (Summit led 4-2) the team knew that they had to value each possession in the second half, and thats what they were able to do. After 4 tough quarters of play the Summit JV team was able to walk out of Sparta with a 6-3 win to improve to 6-0. Goals were contributed by Parrela (2), Driscoll (1), Pat White (2) and John Fischetti (1). Theo Hodges, Scott Cohen and Declan Myer led the team with four ground balls each while Owen McTernan had 1 save and Spencer Myers had 2. 
4/11 Chatham With a quick turnaround the JV boys Lacrosse team hosted rival Chatham at home on April 11. Looking to avenge last years overtime defeat to Chatham the JV team came ready to play and looked to improve to 5-0. It was a close game and a defensive game early on with the score being tied 2-2 at half. Then Joe Galgano was able to secure the go ahead goal in the second half while the defense was able to stand tall with Owen McTernan making 8 saves in the game and they were able to hold off a late 30 second man down penalty with 45 seconds left in the game. Summit JV boys Lacrosse completed the game winning 3-2 and improving to 5-0 on the season. David Parrela (1 Goal), Joe Galgano (1 Goal), Pat White (1 Goal), Beatty (3 Ground balls), Grange (4 Ground balls). 
4/9 Dayton Won 4-0The boys JV Lacrosse team travelled to Dayton on April 9 looking to improve their overall recored to 4-0. The Summit boys were able to move the ball early and quickly and net two goals in the first quarter. By half time the Hilltoppers were looking at a 5-0 lead and looking to secure another shutout. By the end of the second half Summit had scored another three goals and were able to defeat Dayton 8-0. Goals on the day were contributed by Joe Galgano (2), Owen Turk (1), Declan Myer (2), Driscoll (2), and Aidan Grazia (1). Owen McTernan had 2 saves and Spencer Myers had 1. The defense was also able to keep the offense moving with securing the ground balls with Kevin Beatty having 3, Theo Hodges (4) and Scott Cohen (3).
4/7 Glen Rock Won 4-1 The boys JV lacrosse team was able to keep the strong start to the season going with a 4-1 win at Glen Rock. What helped win this game for the JV team was winning the ground balls, being able to have a combined 26 GBs as a team. Joe Galgano, Aidan Grazia, Kyle Gettings, and John Fischetti were all able to net a goal with Henry Muller, David Parella and John Fischetti each having an assist. 
3/31 West Essex Won 15-0  The boys JV lacrosse team defeated West Essex 15-0. Own Turk led a balanced attack with three goals, with goals also coming from David Parella (2), Trevor Regan (2), Henry Muller (1), Joe Galgano (1), Sam Roberts (1), Aidan Grazia (1), Kyle Gettings (1), Pat White (1), John Fischetti (1), and Evan Duetsch (1). The JV defense was also able to post their second shut out. 
3/28 Old Bridge Wqn 8-0 The boys JV lacrosse team opened up the season with a 8-0 shutout over Old Bridge. Summit started strong in the first quarter scoring 4 goals and they were able to keep that momentum going through out the game. Henry Muller and David Parella each scored 2 goals with John Fischetti, Noah Breen, Aidan Grazia and Owen Turk each netting one. Tyler Hadley and Spencer Myers each played a half in goal and secured the shutout.
