Summit had the pleasure of playing the annual Parsippany game at Yogi Berra Stadium on the campus of Montclair State. In addition to the Summit’s players it is a joy for Summit’s fans.. The seats are comfortable and there were no chain-link fences to look through.
Trevor Mutolo had the call to start his first game as the pitcher. What a job he did! He was throwing strikes and didn’t and had 5 strike outs and zero walks over the six ful innings he pitched. Alex Boburka came on in the 7th and put Parsippany dow 1-2-3. It was a great night.
Parsippany had a run in each of the first two innining, but didn’t threaten after that. Summit tied the game in the bottom of the 5th and blew it wide open in the bottom of the sixth keyed by Reddy's bases clearing triple to put the game away,
