Summit hosted Westfield in the first round of the Union County Tournament
Matt Reddy took the mound against Westfield and pitched a gem. He scattered 7 hits, gave up only one walk and no runs. All on only 81 pitched. Quite a performance.
Two runs came in the 4th when Danny Isralowitz and Trever Motolo singled and Justin Weiss and Mike Competiello drove them in on a single and a fielders choice.
The final run came in the 6th. Motolo singled, and was driven in in Emory Carlson’ double
Summit will play top seeded Cranford in the Quarter Finals next Saturday.
