Katia Carnevale scored five goals, including the overtime winner, as Summit, No. 2 in the NJ.com Top 20, defeated Glen Ridge 13-12 in overtime in Bloomfield to avoid the season-opening upset.Summit led 7-6 at halftime, but Glen Ridge had a 6-5 edge in the second half to send it into overtime. That's when Carnevale netted the game winning goal to give Summit a win in its season opener. Julia Szynal scored four goals in the win. Dianna D'Onofiro had 12 saves.
