Summit vs Montgomery 9/7/2018 | ||||||||||||||||||
|
Summit traveled to Montgomery to open the season. It turned into a rout with Max Jackson leading the way. The tone was set when summit took the opening kick off and 10 plays later were in the end zone. Eight of those plays were runs by Jackson. And so it would be for the rest of the half. By the end of the half Jackson had scored three times and racked up 231yards rushing. Summit ended the half ahead 42-0 and played the entire 2nd half under the Mercy Rule (a running clock) Considering the continuous rain the Summit fans were delighted to see the time fly by. The continuous rain was not anticipated and made a mess of recording the stats. So there may be changes after review. |
