Summit picked up where it left off in it opening game. Austin Groce got things rolling when he blocked Warren Hill s' punt and fell on the ball in the end zone. Summit's first possession ended when Jackson Tyler reeled in a 30yd pass from Schulter and suddenly Summit was up 16-0. Summit added two more TD s in the half to establish a 30-0 lead. Warren Hills had its only score of the game on a 46 yard passing play.

The scoring parade continued with Summit eventually going up 45-8. At this point the Mercy rule-running clock was in effect and time ran out quickly.
