| Neighborhood rivals met in what is always a big bragging rites game. They entered the game with very similar records. New Providence grabbed an 8-4 lead in the 1st quarter with all of Summits pointg coming from Annabella Yorio. The half ended with Summit pulling to whithin 1 point (11-10). Sarah Maldonado added 4 of Summit’s 5 points. Summit continued to gain strength in the 3rd and entered thr final 8 minutes ahead 20-17.
The 4th quarter was wild with NP putting heavy defensive pressure. There were lot of turnovers but Summit held NP to 6 points, to Summit’s 10
Maldnado led all scorers with 11 points
