| The Summit Cranford game is always tough. Summit managed to lead at half time 14-7 but Cranford had clearly demonstrated that they were able to slow down Summit’s running game. Summit traded TDs with Cranford, but Summit again failed on another two pointer so the lead 20-14. Late in the quarter Cranford scored again and the two missed extra points allowed Cranford to start the 4th quarter with a 21-20 lead. Things fell apart in the final quarter aided by one of the most egregious interference call against Summit ever seen. Note: Summit and Rahway are both in Group 3 North 1, We will meet Newark West Side away next weekend. |
