There are not many rivalries bigger than Chatham vs. Summit has become. As a result Chatham’s gym was packed. It was the first game that Eric Baier was allowed to play without his protective face gear and he let the fan know he was ready to go as he drained his first two 3-point tries as well as a field goal. That gave Summit a 5 point advantage at the end of the 1st quarter.
Chatham whittled away at that lead so that the with only seconds to go Joe Lusardi’s free throws made the difference.
Baier led the scoring again with 20 point, Lusardi was in double digits with 12 points and Will Hellings had 7 rebounds
