It has been a long time since Summit had played Mt. Lakes so Summit didn’t what to expect as the Mountaineers took a 14-9 first quarter lead. Joe Lusardi’s 6 points accounted for most of Summit’s points. Eric Baier took charge in the 2nd quarter with 9 points to helped Summit regain a 24-21 lead. Summit continued to grow the lead in the 3rd quarter and were up by 7 with 8 minutes to play. Mt. Lakes got back to within 3 points, but Summit held on to win by 5.
Summit had three players in double digits; Baier with 16, and Lusardi and Hellings with 10. Hellings had 8 rebounds. |
