Summit took command from the start and took a 45-27 lead starting the final quarter. Summit fans were very happy with an 18 point lead. After all, who could blow a lead that big? Yet with 27 seconds left New Providence had cut the lead to 51-47. Summit calmed the fans with 3 points and a win 54-47.
As is so often the case Eric Baier was the high scorer with 18 points. Charles Lord added 12 key points. Baier and Jackson Rind each had 6 rebounds.
