Notes So, the season come to an end. But, what a great season it was. Our players delivered a remarkable 18 game winning streak. In the 25 year existence of the web site no team has come close to that streak. Future teams have a tough act to follow. Congratulations go to Coach Simo who, in two seasons, has revamped Summit’s style of play and produced a powerful competitor. Summit will lose all seven starters to graduation. They blessed Summit’s fans with great basketball, that sets a standard that our fine class of sophomore and juniors will strive to match. It may be a long time before we see the likes Eric Baier again, on both offence and defense. His 27 points in this game gave him a Summit career total of 1230 points. This moved him ahead of the of the great Wellington Smith . Finally, I want to thank Caroline & Hoot Gibson and Laura Schaffer for helping collect the data that goes into the season statistics. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
