| Every winning streak must end. Summit’s ended at 18 at the hands of Roselle Catholic. Roselle Catholic is part of a dozen or so private schools who heavily recruit basketball players and dominate the top 10 slots in any list of best teams in the state. Summit actually gave Roselle Catholic more than they expected.
RC had an almost 7 ft center who seriously disrupted Summit’s inside game. On offence he would slam dunk any rebound he came across. It was only fitting that Eric Baier and Will Hellings would both score 18 points leading Summit’s offense. Hellings had 10 rebounds. Baier now has 1139 career points.
