Scotch Plains is usually a very tough game, but this year is a rebuilding year for them. As a result Summit took a one point lead in the first quarter and grew each quarter, finishing with a 15 point lead. Eric Baier, who had broken his nose two games ago, was playing with a clear plastic mask on his face. In spite that handicap he still led all players with 17 points.
