Brendan Reilly pitched four innings and gave up only 1 earned run and Emlen Fischer came on in the 5th to preserve the win. Summit
unloaded for 13 hits in 5 innings. The game was terminated under the mandatory 10 run rule in the 5th. With Parsippany up 4-3 going into the
4th things didn't look so good, but Summit erupted for 9 runs in the bottom of the 4th. Duane Dates and Josh Lipsey began the big inning by
drawing walks. Fred Luberto's double drove them in. Singles by Chellevold, Mormak and Wheelless combined with a walk to Bennett
resulted in three more runs. Campagna singled and he and Wheelless were driven in by Date's double. The second Luberto hit of the inning
drove in Dates for the 9th run. In the Summit 5th the fans were hoping for 2 more runs for a 10 run lead and an early dinner. Chellevold led off
wiith a single and went to second when the left fielder mishandled the ball. Joe Mormak walked and Jason Flores came to bat as a pinch
hitter. Flores doubled to score Chellevold. All we needed now was one more run. Jon Campagna walked to load the bases, but Josh Lipsey
hit a line drive that unfortunately was right at the 3rd baseman, two outs. The Game ended when Dates drew a walk to force in the 2nd run of the inning.
