This was one that Summit expected to win easily, and that is exactly what happened. Summit's record improved to 10-4 and this was our last game before the cutoff date for the State Tournament. Summit should have its best seed for the tournament in a very long time. Summit jumped to a 15-8 lead with FGs by 6 different players. The second quarter was punctuated by 10 points from John Foushee and a pair of 3s by John Brown. At the half it was 31-16 and it was pretty clear how things were going to end. However, we didn't expect a 25 point 3rd quarter, led by Brian Rush's 11 points and John Brown's 6 points. Everyone made it into the game for the 4th quarter. John Brown, John Foushee and Brian Rush led the scoring with 43 of Summit's 63 total points.

JV Results

This was even an easier win for the JV's than the Varsity as they easily handled Boonton 52-26. Kurt Forsyth led the scoring with 15 points. Jon Campagna and and Gereno Tan each contributed 10. As a side note, Ryan Carey (the younger brother of last year's scoring leader Chas Carey) was brought up full time from the freshman team. John Martini was still sidelined with a muscle strain in his back.
