This was a key game for Dover and Summit. Both were 2-2 in the conference and another loss would pretty much eliminate the loser from
competing for the conference title. The first quarter got off badly as Summit committed about 7 turnovers, many leading directly to Dover points.
A 9-2 run by Dover at the beginning of the 2nd quarter gave Dover a 26-16 lead and Summit was in danger of being blown out. To the team's
credit they didn't quit and rallied to tie the game at 31 at the end of the half. Summit stayed close throughout the 3rd quarter and entered the 4th
down by 3. A quick basket at the beginning of the 4th put us down 1 at 47-48, but then the roof fell in as turnovers again plagued Summit. Dover
ran off 13 unanswered points to go up by 14 with less than 4 min to play. Summit fought back to close to within 6 at the end but never really
threatened. Summit was outplayed by Dover, but Summit certainly got the wrong end of things in the foul department. Summit was called for 20
fouls while Dover was only whistled for 10. In addition to the extra FT points, Dover benefitted by having Brian Rush and John Foushee sitting
on the bench for long stretches, in foul trouble. Foushee fouled out midway through the 4th quarter and both Rush and Matt Von Klemperer
were hampered by having to play with 4 fouls each.

JV Results
Summit's JV lost its first game of the season to Dover in a heartbreaking game, 48-52. Summit looked like they were in command as they built a 27-19 lead
midway through the 2nd quarter. Then, uncharacteristically, the Summit offense fell out of sync and committed too many turnovers.
