Summit jumped to an early 8-2 lead but Mendham came roaring back by outscoring Summit 22-9 through the rest of the first half. The ship was righted in the 3rd quarter, led by John Foushee's 5 points, and we got back to within 1 as the quarter ended. Then with the score at 44-37 our 4th quarter foul shooting blues struck again as we missed 4 consecutive free throws that could have kept us in the game. By contrast, Mendham hit all 6 of their FT attempts down the stretch. John Foushee led the scoring with 17 points and Brian Rush contributed 13.

JV Results
It was a bad night for Summit's JV team as they were defeated by Mendham 44-28. It seemed that nothing would go in the hoop. For the night Summit hit only 11 of 45 shots for a weak 24%. In fact Suymmit went scoreless over the last 6 minutes of the game. Ryan Carey led the Summit scoring with 11 points.
