It was the season opener, but Summit ran into a buzz saw. Parsippany was just too quick and talented. Summit hung in there during
the first half after Parsippany jumped off to a 10-2 lead. We closed the gap to 3 points late in the 2nd quarter and ended the half only
down 4 points. Unfortunately, Parsippany pretty much settled things with a 17 point 3rd quarter to go up by 13 points. When it was
all over, 4 of their 5 starters scored in double figures. However, it is worth noting that Parsippany is thought to have one of the best
programs in Conference. John Foushee, John Brown and Brian Rush led Summit with 11,10, and 9 points respectively.
