Summit came back to earth after the great win over Mendham, thanks to a very talented Parsippany team, 16 1st half Summit turnovers, and the failure of the refs to properly assess blame for very aggressive defense by Parsippany. Parsippany jumped to a quick 7-0 lead and Summit fought back to get to within one point (9-8). However, Parsippany scored the final 5 points in the quarter to lead by six. In the 2nd quarter Parsippany slammed the door by outscoring Summit 20 -10. Summit closed the gap a little in the 3rd quarter led by John Brown's 8 points, John Foushee's 6 and Brian Rush's 4. In the final analysis Parsippany was just too quick this night.
