Erica Berger got Summit off to a fast start as she pumped in 10 points in the 1st quarter to help build a 16-7 lead. Summit relied again on its
tough swarming defense to produce myriad turnovers. Seven players participated in the scoring in the 2nd quarter as the lead was built to 20
points. At this point there appeared to be little doubt about the outcome of the game. While the 1st half was keyed by Erica Berger, the second
half scoring was all Stephanie Bruce as she scored 12 of Summit's 13 points. Summit started the 4rd quarter leading by 27 and the bench was
cleared. Coach Farinella has Summit playing some of the most outstanding defense seen in years.
