Summit, again playing without its two leading scorers
(Marissa Kellogg and Stephanie Bruce), found themselves
down 19-11 at the half. Things recovered somewhat in the 3rd quarter,
but Summit still trailed by four points going into the final 8
minutes. The fourth quarter was a complete turnaround as the Summit
defense held Parsippany to 4 points while the offense went on
a 25 point rampage. The trio of Katie Tully(9 points),
Odette Nemes(8 points) and Lauren McNemany(6 points)
scored all but 2 of those 25 points. Freshman Katie Tully led
the Summit scoring with 14 points

JV Game Results
Summit's JV team pulled off a minor miracle against
Parsippany. Coach Kevin Donnelly and the team faced a highly
regarded Parsippany squad with, as a result of illness, only five
players available for the game. In the middle of the first quarter
one of those five went down with an injury. Coach Donnelly
and the remaining four players were forced to devise a new
game strategy on the spot. To everyone's amazement they pulled
it off and defeated Parsippany 38-37. Congratulations all around!
