There isn't much to say about this game. The main thing of note was that James Sivertsen made his first game appearance since undergoing chemotherapy earlier in April. He drew the starting pitching assignment and got off to a very rocky start. GL scored 10 runs in the first two innings. However, by the end of the second inning he was beginning to find a grove. He retired 5 of 6 batters during the end of the 2nd and the third innings. It was good to see him back in action.

Summit was limited to 2 hits during the 5 innings that the game lasted. Oddly, both hits were home runs over the left field fence. Ryan Carey led of the 4th inning with the first blast and Adam Breene hit the second homer after Jon Campagna had been walked.

Summit must win two games next week to insure they qualify for the State Tournament.
