Summit easily won this game that was halted after 4 innings.
Weequahic is fielding its first baseball team after many years
away from the game. They should be congratulated for "hanging
in" in spite a series of defeats by large margins. Paul
Krupa didn't allow any hits or runs over the 4 innings the
game lasted. This game also provided an opportunity for many
of the JV players to get some Varsity exposure. The biggest hit
of the game was a towering home run by Jon Campagna. Ryan
Carey and Chris Kaiser had big triples and Ken
Bogden picked up a double.
Summit's final game of the season is at Parsippany on Friday.
