West Essex's Mustrado pitched an excellent game and gave
up only 3 hits (singles by Ryan Carey, Chris Kaiser and
Paul Krupa) and 2 unearned runs. The game was pretty much
decided in the third inning when West Essex scored 8 runs on
5 hits, 4 walks and 1 error. That made the score 9-2, and Summit
never really threatened to rally for the remainder of the game.
Summit was only able to muster 6 base runners over the 6 innings
the game lasted. |
